The rocking chair wasn’t really an interesting piece of furniture for decades – but wrongly. Fermob shows a rocking chair which suits in today’s style.
Fermob asked Frédéric Sofia to re-interpret the famous chairs and armchairs of the Jardin du Luxembourg, created by Paris’ workshops in 1923, and still produced for the Paris parks by Fermob today. This is how a series with clear lines emerged, which unifies the weightlessness and robustness of aluminium with comfortable seats out of rounded wood-battens. Luxembourg consists of aluminium and spreads weightlessness, life-enjoyment and sociability.
Fermob’s Luxembourg collection is a product range that unifies trend and timelessness as no other style and tradition does. The users’ friendly rocking chair emphasizes the airy character of outdoors, but it is also perfectly integrated inside for a bit of playfulness and idleness. The rocking chair is also available in further colours.
The Luxembourg garden furniture pieces aren’t only sophisticated in their production, but also consist of recyclable materials. The environment friendly production is an important thing and part of the Fermob company philosophy and this is how Fermob produces furniture that cannot only stand in nature, but also exist with it in harmony.
All of the products are available in different colours.
