The apple represents risk and temptation. That’s the reason why it is much better to sit on it than to bite it, is what the designer Maurizio Galante thought when he created the covers Tattoo Eve and Tattoo Snow White.
There is a modified variant of the famous Tatino from Enrico Baleri & Denis Santachiara under the fabric. The flexible seat by Baleri Italia serves as pouf, stool or footrest and it is made of flexible, soft polyurethane with a hard interior structure of plastic, which supports the body and also offers comfort.
Two photo-realistic prints on the bi-elastic cover evoke the image of a three-dimensional apple. The pictures haven’t been selected by chance from Maurizio Galante:
The green apple represents the apple Eve gave Adam according to the Biblical narration. The red apple simbolizes the apple that nearly killed Snow White in Grimms tales, which was poisoned by the jealous queen.
The Tattoo Apple by Baleri Italia doesn’t provide any poisoned experiences to the user. Much more this humorous seat connects optical accents with functional utility. The apple motive textiles were designed by Mairizio Galante for Baleri Italia.
The Baleri Italia Tattoo is also available in an elliptical edition according to the Tato models, with different designs as well on demand.
