Lounge Chair for Indoors and Outside
In 1995, the Fondation Cartier in Paris gave the order to create an interactive installation for the fair "l'art contemporain" to international renowned designer Marc Newson. As a result he presented the sculptural seat object Bucky.
In the meantime, in its second generation, the amorphous seating furniture has developed to cult object and fans all over the world.
Manufacturer Artifical produces the lounge chair which is made of coloured plastic and worked up in a complex system. Due to its weatherproofed polyethylene material, the convenient Bucky II chair is suitable for in- and outdoors.
Together with the Orgone Chair, as well designed by Marc Newson, the Bucky II chair is exhibited in numerous international design museums.
