The Party Set by Verpan is a collection of four stools and one table. The Party Set was created by the design legend Verner Panton and it is easy to fold and store it, to use it flexibly.
Panton designed his individual and flexible Party Set in 1965. Mobility was an important topic in home rooms then, and Panton was a pioneer in that field. Besides many other extremely adaptable furniture pieces, he also created the Party Set because he wanted maximal adaptability in homes.
The single parts of the Verpan Party Set are stackable inside each other as if they were Russian Matrjoshka dolls. The castors make the cylindrical container mobile and easy to store. Only a few adjustments are necessary to unfold the set and make a completed place to sit and eat at with four stools with leather seats (one of them with castors) and one table. The Party Set is easy to stack thanks to the decent handles.
Verpan produces the Party Set out of laminated wood. The castors of the flexible furniture system by Verner Panton are chrome-plated. The versatile Party Set isn’t only usable in the living room, but also in the children’s room, in the bedroom or on the terrace. Flexibility in homes is contemporaneous in every époque.
