Glass Coffee Table with Marble Tabletop
The Bell side table by Sebastian Herkner for ClassiCon with a foot made from mouth-blown glass and copper is now available with a tabletop made from black or white marble. Sebastian Herkner plays with the usual perception of materials and uses glass, a supposedly fragile material, as the base.
Glass, Marble and Copper
The side table consists of a concise table base made of glass, on which a copper frame rests, complete with a round tabletop made of marble. The glass base is hand-blown in a traditional manner using a wooden mould. The manufacturing process that takes place in a factory in Bavaria celebrates the virtues of craftsmanship. Every table is unique, where small bubbles and bumps in the glass are a characteristic feature.
The marble tabletop is available in white marble from Carrara, Italy or black marble from Marquina, Spain. he playful combination of hard and fragile materials that has been turned on its head is an absolute eye-catcher in every room. In addition, light reflects beautifully off the glass, copper and marble, making the table blend into its surroundings.
