Illumesa unifies floor lamp and side table in one piece of furniture. The designer’s object by Verner Panton out of the year 1970 combines simple design and bersatile use – even for outdoor use.
In the typical Verner Panton style, the Illumesa side table is designed clearly and soft: the Danish designer connected the two nearly identic cylindrical halves to one harmonic whole object in 1970. The specialty is that the versatile product is usable for different purposes: Illumesa isn’t only usable as side table in the living room, which will attract attention because of its clever illuminated corpus.
Also as table outside, the light object by Verner Panton has multiple use: With an IP44 protection class and its production out of acrylic, Illumesa can also stand in the rain with soft rain, while the illumination ensures especially effective mood at warm summer evenings. And the best thing: The objects on top of the Illumesa table are easily recognizable when it is dark, if the table’s light is switched on.
But if you don’t need a side table, the Verpan Illumesa is also usable as effective floor lamp: The diffuse illumination creates a pleasant ambience and emphasizes all of the objects on its top. Verpan delivers the light object with a 5 m long, yellow textile cable.
Each Verpan product is delivered with an authenticity certificate. This one grants the originality of the product, which is still manufactured according to the strict quality demands of Verner Panton at Verpan.
Please note that the acrylic bowl might be destroyed if temperatures are among the freezing point if the Illumesa side table is used outside.
