Configurable Kitchen Shelf
Versatility was the central focus of the designer Stefan Diez when designing his New Order collection for Hay. All parts are freely configurable, combinable and are as unique as life itself. Whether against the wall or in the middle of the room: your freedom of choice begins with where you put it.
With its countless possibilities, the New Order Shelf by Hay will feel at home anywhere. Due to its simple and straightforward design made of aluminium and wood, not only is its use universal but also its design.
The kitchen version is as useful as a traditional kitchen shelf: while all kinds of kitchen utensils can be stowed behind the doors, attractive bowls, fine wine glasses or stylish snacks can be used to decorate the open compartment whilst always being at hand.
Hay New Order: Sideboard with Universal Use
The graphic, almost ascetic silhouette of the shelf by Stefan Diez ensures that the furniture fits into any home. The different elements, materials and surfaces are combinable and therefore fit into a variety of interiors while the basic construction of aluminium ensures uncompromising stability.
New order elements can be placed anywhere, since panels made of wood or textile can be mounted on all sides. Assembly and disassembly of the well thought-out system is fast and easy – and if desired, the entire shelf can be rearranged in a completely new way. This comes in handy not only when moving, but also when redesigning your home.
