The sideboard out of the Remix Collection by the Hansen Family is an exceptional piece of furniture with a strong character. The design of Gesa Hansen unifies modern and classic elements and has been honoured with the Red Dot Design Award.
Inside of the massive oak wood corpus there are eight drawers, which stand slightly inclined and looking out for an easy opening. The free room in the middle of the furniture piece is divided by a coloured cross into four compartments. The body of the sideboard lies on four filigree feet which stand inclined creating a contrast to the straight lined design of the sideboard.
Gesa Hansen’s design style is a combination of Scandinavian minimalism and strong colours. This is also displayed in the sideboard of the awarded Remix Collection which was strongly inspired by Scandinavian handicraft tradition. The Hansen Family and the designer regard themselves as part of this tradition and produce their furniture in the workshop of Hans Hansen with handicraft. Moreover only ecological correct cultivation wood is used for the production. The cross inside of the drawer is available in different colours. Also in our blog:
