Stool out of Metal and Wood
The extraordinary U1 stool, designed by Christian Juhl for Andersen Furniture, combines metal and wood in an unconventional way.
Patent Locking Brackets made of Stainless Steel
The stool with a circular seat and three legs is made from ash wood. The legs and the seat are joined together with patent locking brackets in stainless steel. The bracket fittings are obviously supposed to be recognized and thus become an important element of the stool.
In addition to the aesthetic benefits the legs thanks to the locking brackets allow to be easily removed following the same principle that we know from jars and bottles, making it an alternative seating for a barbecue or camping.
