The Vitra Hang it all coat rack - created in 1953 is one of the most famous designs by Ray and Charles Eames, described as a design classic .
Used instead of simple hooks, these brightly-coloured wooden spheres were created to encourage children to "hang it all", such as: jackets, toys, roller skates, dolls, or backpacks.
However, the past decades have shown that the Hang it all coat rack is also a fun and functional alternative outside of the children's rooms.
