For Maria Berntsen, good design must first of all fulfill a certain function. She also loves to experiment and follow her intuitions at the same time when it comes to create something new. That’s how the designer instinctively changes her atmospheric lanterns into mobile glass bowls, by reinforcing the soft lines and closing the lateral openings of the glass.
