Glass Bowl with Organic Shape
In 1937, the design from the Aalto collection was introduced at the world exhibition in Paris and is considered today a classic among design lovers. For this design, Alvar Aalto was allegedly inspired by the shapes of the Finnish landscape and the sea, which he had learned about from his father, a cartographer. The glass objects are characterised by the organic design that finds itself in the form of vases, bowls and trays. The products are made through laborious handiwork, according to the requirements of Alvar Aalto, whose designs are based on nature.
The Aalto bowl (75 mm) also has this curved design and is therefore a highlight on the dining or coffee table. Whether for serving ice cream or desserts, small snacks and dips or as a mere decorative object - the glass bowl is very versatile and can be excellently combined with other products from the collection.
The Aalto bowl is available in different colours, together providing a summer atmosphere on the table.
