Warm and cosy: The Origo blanket is a soft textile of the famous collection designed by Alfredo Häberli.
Häberli created the Origo dishes for the Finnish manufacturer Iittala in 1999. With it, he created a “sign of the time”, without even knowing it. The collection meanwhile grew and grew, including colourful accessories enriching the original dishes collection.
Colourful blanket with stripes
A successful product has a good design and it needs to be made of high quality. This is all concentrated in the Origo series, which “resists to be used every day for a long time without any problems” according to Iittala. The Origo design from Alfredo Häberli was awarded several times internationally: it received the iF Design Award 2002, the Excellent Swedish Design Award 2001 and the Japanese award Zakka of the Year 2001.
The Origo throw is suitable for the living room, as bedspread in the bedroom and as cosy cuddling throw, since the colourful design is made of 100% merino wool. The vivid blanket is a happy eye-catcher in all kinds of surroundings, including the grey ones.
