The graphic patterns by the colour experts Scholten & Baijings look especially good on paper. Hay thought to themselves: Why shouldn’t we then create a rug out of the natural material?
As already with the Two Ways Rug, Hay goes an unusual way: The Danish manufacturer also produces the Paper Carpet out of paper yarn. But don’t worry, the material has already proven itself: The Paper Carpet is coated with a protective layer. This keeps dirt from reaching the paper and makes it easier to clean.
The geometric colour surfaces of the Paper Carpet are partly very harmoniously coordinated and partly form an exciting contrast – as is typical for designs by the Scholten & Baijings duo. Hay recommends cleaning the Paper rug by using the vacuum cleaner or a soft, damp cloth.
