Alvar Aalto designed his Siena pattern in 1954: a design, which acts architecturally clear as well as weightless. Aalto’s basic idea was to create a pattern for textiles, which would be useful for the most different purposes – Aalto’s second wife Elissa even had a dress in the Siena design.
The Siena pillow cases consist of canvas-cotton. They are especially suitable for sofa cushions, setting some pretty accents with their size of 50 x 50 cm.
