Colourful and iconic: with the Cushion Cover, Iittala presents a cushion of the famous series by designer Alfredo Häberli.
In 1999, Häberli designed the Origo dishes for the Finnish manufacturer Iittala. Neither the designer nor the manufacturer expected to create such a sign of the times with their series. In the meantime, the collection grew and was enlarged by colourful accessories which enrich the original dish series.

Next to a venturous design, a successful product additionally requires high quality which particularly applies to the Origo series. According to Iittala, the cushion covers can “resist the burden of being used daily for a long period of time without any problems".
The Origo design by Alfredo Häberli was internationally rewarded several times: with the iF-Design Award 2002, the Excellent Swedish Design Award 2001 and the Japanese Zakka of the Year prize 2001.
The Origo Cushion Cover is suitable as a cushion on the sofa as well as a pillow in bed: the colourful cushion cover is manufactured of 100% linen. The fabric is not just cool on the skin and shines silkily, but is also resistant to dirt and yet permeable to air. Furthermore, the cushion can even be used as a blur of colour for simpler furnishing.
