As head of the textile department at Herman Miller, architect and designer Alexander Girard developed over 300 different graphic designs.
The popular designs range from colourful, floral forms to monochrome patterns and adorn home accessories, small furniture and textiles today.
The subtle colours of the Checker Cushion make it especially timeless. Small black and white squares are arranged next to each other on the fabric like on a chessboard to produce an especially harmonious pattern.
You can use the Maharam cushion individually or in combination with other cushions and materials to emphasise particular features in your living room.
The Checker Cushion is supplied with a feather filling.
This is inside a separate cotton cover so that the cushion cover can be easily cleaned when necessary.
