The cotton made Siena napkins by Artek are high quality textiles out of the classic Siena collection by Alvar Aalto.
Alvar Aalto designed his Siena pattern in 1954: a design, which acts architecturally clear as well as weightless. Aalto’s basic idea was to create a pattern for textiles, which would be useful for the most different purposes – Aalto’s second wife Elissa even had a dress in the Siena design.
The square Siena napkins consist of 100% cotton. The different products of the collection by Artek are wonderfully combinable with each other because of the numerous possibilities given by the Siena design.
