Origami Design for the Table
As part of the Iittala X Issey Miyake collection, the Table Flowers are equally influenced by Asian and Finnish craftsmanship tradition. Reduced and natural shapes from Finnish design meet Asian influences, such as origami, the art of paper folding, which is reflected particularly in the elaborate designs of the Table Flower.
Folded Fabric Flowers
The Table Flowers from Iittala X Issey Miyake come in three different sizes for use as placemats or decorative table accessories. The largest of the flowers - with a diameter of 27 cm - is suitable both as a placemat or as a tray for keys, jewellery and other accessories.
Made from the original Issey Miyake fabric, the Table Flowers are of particularly high quality and are durable. To maintain the unique pleat of the fabric roses, they cannot be ironed.
