Armug is a tea glass made of heat-resistant glass and stainless steel. Aldo Rossi designed Armug for the Italian company Alessi in 1991. The glass lies in a frame with a handle, so that the drink can be lifted regardless of its temperature. The gaps in the frame allow a glimpse into the tea glass.
Designer Also Rossi is considered the playwright of abstraction, reduction and brevitas and has created some of the poetic architecture and design works of his time with his strict style of primary shapes, geometry and subliminal evocations.
Alessi also offers Armug design mocha cups.
