Mug Without Handle with Abstract Pattern
The Oiva Svaale cup by Marimekko is a simple cup without handle with a folkloristic pattern designed by the British designer Sanna Annukka. The designer has spent many summers in her grandmother's house in Finland and therefore feels very close to the country and the roots of her family. The leitmotif of the Svaale pattern is the arctic fox, an important figure in Nordic mythology. Inspiration for the strongly abstract pattern are old Eastern European embroideries in which animals in particular are depicted in a very simplified way.
Made of Sturdy Stoneware
The cup is available in a practical set of 2 and is made of robust, white stoneware. The mug has a capacity of 200 ml making it perfect for a cup of coffee first thing in the morning or a cup of tea in the afternoon.
After use, they are simply cleaned in the dishwasher. They are also freeze, oven and microwave proof.
