serving and decorative bowl in gold
The Krenit bowl from the series of the same name by Herbert Krenchel for Normann Copenhagen is now also available with a particularly fine inside. The gold harmonises wonderfully with the matt black exterior, creating a special bowl that adds elegant accents when serving and decorating.
Steel shell from the 50s
The classic shape and minimalist design of the bowl series was already designed by Krenchel in 1953. Normann Copenhagen makes the bowl from enamelled steel and in different sizes. Particularly striking is the sharp edge, which creates a balance between material and form.
Herbert Krenchel explains: "In 1953, the original idea was to design a beautiful bowl that would be functional and graceful enough to be used in the kitchen as well as on the dining table and as decoration in the living room. As a materials researcher, I paid a lot of attention to making sure that the different materials fitted together and looked good together, that they were compatible and could be used together".
