In 1938, Count Sigvard Bernadotte , the uncle of Denmark's Queen Margrethe, designed an elegant silver teapot with a unique design. Now the silver jug has been reissued in a modern processed version as a new thermos jug from Georg Jensen . The Bernadotte is finished in chrome-coated steel with a steel insert and is available in various sizes.
The slender lines on the body of the Georg Jensen Bernadotte Thermos are a nod to earlier designs of silver place settings, but the jug still looks elegant and timeless. Bernadotte Fits a regally set table as well as any simple breakfast table. The warming pot is a noble and very durable warming device that does not immediately betray its function through its elegant appearance.
