Floor Lamp in the 1940s Design
The previous model of the VL38 floor lamp is a table lamp that was originally designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen together with Louis Poulsen for the new building of the Danish of radio broadcasting building. The new edition is introduced under the name of VL38 floor lamp and is part of the homonymous series by Louis Poulsen, bringing the elegant retro charm of the design of the 40s back to life.
Adaptable, Glare-free Floor Luminaire
The VL38 series is set on the original designs from 1938. Thanks to the combination of white and brass this simple, functional and elegant lighting series impresses with timeless beauty. The foot and the swivel lamp head are made out of aluminium with a white painted finish, making the fixture emit a pleasant glare-free light that can be adapted if necessary.
As part of the VL38 series the luminaire is available for different room and furnishings as a floor, table or wall lamp.
