The Spider floor lamp 3319 by Oluce is a true classic! Joe Colombo designed the concept for it in 1965, which was to be trendsetting: adjustable in all directions, the Spider lamp was the first of its kind at the time. It was awarded the coveted Compasso d’Oro in 1967.
Joe Colombo’s Spider lamp became the prototype for a new type of lighting source after its debut. The head of the Spider 3319 can be adjusted in height as well as rotated or tilted - an absolute novelty at the time. Colombo’s vision was always multifunctionality and this is also reflected in the Spider 3319: thanks to its adjustability on all axes, it’s use and direction are versatile.
The Italian company Oluce constructs the base of the floor lamp out of lacquered metal, while the tube is chrome-plated. The reflector itself is made of aluminium. The Spider 3319 floor lamp is a versatile floor lamp for any lover of design, on account of its history, construction and style, and is also available in the colours black and white.
