Flamingo is a light sculpture designed by Eerno Aarnio in 2008.
The nearly one metre-tall lamp is powered by two energy-saving lightbulbs (2 x 36W TC-L). The light of the Flamingo floor lamp is even and glare-free.
Inspired by the bird of the same name, the shape of the floor lamp is distinguished by its organic curve which, considered abstractly, represents two flamingos. Aarnio is famous for his representations of the animal kingdom, which have already been done successfully on sculptures such as the Puppy, Pony Stool and the Pingy.
