The Cabildo pendant lamp was designed by Eric Solé for the Italian lamps manufacturer Artemide. The elegant and futuristic acting design of the lamps’ body is effectively accentuated by the indirect light directing, creating a decorative light circle.
The cable winches to hang the Cabildo pendant lamp do simultaneously serve as connection cable for the power supply. So that a third cable to hang the lamp is not needed, ensuring the symmetry of the lamp. The lamp can be suspended to up to 1.5 metres.
The Cabildo body consists of die cast, lacquered aluminium. The halogen illuminant sits on the inside of the lamp so that the inside is directly lightened and appears as a light circle. The lamp spreads indirect, scattered light into the room.
The round design from Cabildo was coined by the designer Eric Solé for a whole lamps-series. Pendant, wall and floor lamps are part of this collection.
