An object does only count as design icon when it passes the test of the time and if it does not loose any of its symbolic strength despite the time and numerous variants. &Tradition has revived a design icon with the FlowerPot lamp. In the year 1969 the already at living times legendary Danish architect and designer Verner Panton designed the prize honoured FlowerPot lamp. From the 25 lamp shapings that were created by Verner Panton, FlowerPot and Topan are deemed to be most simple lamps.
Panton is known as pioneer at the integration from Top-Art elements in the living design world. The designer was influenced by the Flower-Power time for his FlowerPot lamp naming, giving a memorial to it. The aluminium-stainless steel construction is available in further colours.Also in our blog:
