Pendant Lamp with Mechanical Suspension
The Caravaggio P1 pendant lamp by Fritz Hansen was designed by Cecilie Manz and is part of the Caravaggio series. The design of the lamp is characterised by smooth, almost feminine lines, in contrast to its more mechanical-like suspension system.
High-gloss or Matte Lacquered Shade The lampshade is made of steel and painted either high-gloss or matte, giving the lamp strong expressiveness and a contemporary feel. The suspension mechanism gives Caravaggio that certain something, and is also made of curved steel and twisted brass parts that are subsequently chrome-plated. The steel struts cover the colour-contrasting textile cable and put an exciting emphasis on it.
The cable is also lightly lit through an opening on the top end of the lightshade.
