Filigree balloon lamp
In 2001, Bentjan Pot designed the filigree-style random light LED pendant lamp for the Dutch manufacturer Moooi. The process sounds easy, because the lampshade consists of glass fibers, which before were soaked in epoxy resin and are processed during the drying to a large balloon. What sounds easy, took a development time of three years according to the designer.
Each lamp is unique
But the result is astonishing, because the random Light LED is not only an eye-catcher in every room, but offers also a unique play of light and shadow. It exudes a sense of simplicity, lightness with a hint of magic in every room. Due to the manufacturing process, each lamp is unique, which is a special eye-catcher in the residential and contract sector especially in combination of different sizes.
LED & non-LED variant
Besides the LED version, the light is available without a fixed central light source in different sizes so that the light bulb if required can be selected individually.
