Pendant in the Shape of Sausages
The name for the So-Sage pendant lamps by Petite Friture is explained when seeing the series for the first time. The Lamp series by Sam Baron was inspired by sausages of different shapes that we see hanging in traditional butchers. The So-Sage lamp distributes a pleasant and warm light throughout the room, taking its full effect when hung in a group.
Named after Types of French Sausages
The lights are made from borosilicate glass. The lacquered brass canopy and the steel escutcheon both have a graphite finish. The cable is covered by fabric. The individual variants of the pendant lamps are named after famous French sausages. For example, the line includes the popular Cervelas sausage from Lyon and the Diot sausage from Savoy. However, the lights don’t necessarily look like the sausage they were named after.
The luminaires are particularly appropriate in the kitchen or above the dining table where they act as real eye-catchers fitting into the theme of food and drinks.
