Shimmering metal and geometric, extravagant shapes characterise the style of the British designer Tom Dixon. The Etch pendant lamp was also designed according to it. It consists of connected square structures and it is decorated with fine, circular openings. The faceted light shines through the fine openings, and casts subtle shadows into the surroundings.
The differently sized holes look as if they have grown naturally in the Tom Dixon Etch pendant lamp; instead, the exceptional appearance of the Etch lamp also however comes from the just as exceptional production process: Tom Dixon used an industrial processing method, with which small electric parts are produced. This method enabled the designer to cut especially fine and detailed patterns and structures into the 0.4 mm thick metal of the lamp.
The Etch votive candle holders, matching the Etch pendant lamp are also available; combined they guarantee interesting light effects in every room.
