Among the numerous lamps that were created by Verner Panton, Topan is the most simple, beside FlowerPot, and simultaneously the catchiest design. Topan advanced fast to one of the most sold lamps, designed in the year 1960.
The spherical shade out of aluminium is opened downwards and should be hanged as near as possible to tables or the floor according to the designer’s suggestion, to exclude glaring from the illuminant in the centre of the sphere.
The comeback of the Panton classics at &Tradition proves impressing the timeless character of the objects.
