Lamp Collection in Crystal-Glass Look
The Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka put all his experience of plastics processing in his first light series for the Italian manufacturer Kartell. The result is a series of beautifully mysterious Planet LED pendant and table lamps in crystal glass look, breaking the light differently from every angle due to the surface finish.
Magical Sparkling
Instead of crystal glass, the Planet LED lights consist of differently thick polycarbonate. The complex lighting play with the physical lens effect and create a magical sparkle that wouldn’t even be possible with crystal glass.
The Planet LED light by Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell is available as ball-shaped table lamp with base in crystal clear, yellow and grey.
