Surprisingly timeless: The Lightworm table lamp was only designed in 2002 by Walter Schnepel. The senior manager of Tecnolumen equipped the lamp’s head with a simple socket – that’s how the bulb is the centre of attention.
The base of the Lightworm however, is more complex and it offers functionality: The foot of the Lightworm is made of many small parts, which run to the top as well as the eponymous worm. The table lamp by Tecnolumen is also adjustable in height and width with its structure. The base of the Worm Lamp is made of metal and it harmonically suits the transparent cable.
The switch of the Tecnolumen Lightworm is at the plastic socket, so that it remains decently in the background. The Lightworm is available in a nickel-plated edition with transparent cable and a black edition with black cable.
