The wall lamp Aplomb by Foscarini combines concrete with a formal and also decorative design. The lamp was designed by LucidiPevere.
The Aplomb wall lamp edition examines the expression possibilities of raw concrete. Its special composition makes it possible to fill the mixture in the casting mould when it is still liquid and it ensures an appealing result by looks and feel.
As well as the Aplomb pendant lamp, the wall lamp also dares the big jump from the world of architecture and construction – the world of concrete – into homely and private rooms. The inclined diffuser of the Foscarini lamp visually suits every wall, enters a dialogue with them and makes the light shine indirect and controlled.
The concrete material lets the light of the Aplomb wall lamp get out of the lampshade through a wide opening at the top and a smaller one at the bottom. The upwards directed light beam is thereby reflected by the wall and the roof and it therefore illuminates the room without glaring.
The Foscarini Aplomb is ideally suitable to be used in simple surroundings with clear architecture as wall lamp, especially where there are raw materials used to furnish rooms. The lamp designed by LucidiPevere can be positioned solo or together with more of its kind alongside a wall. Also in our blog:
