Wall Lamp by Vilhelm Lauritzen
The previous model of the VL38 wall lamp was originally designed in 1938 by Vilhelm Lauritzen together with Louis Poulsen for the new building of the Danish radio broadcasting company. The remake sconce is introduced under the name of VL38 and is part of the same name light series, which brings the elegant design of Lauritzen from the 1940s back to life.
The VL38 series focuses on the original designs from the 20th century, with an organically shaped, white lacquered and chamfered head. The arms of the lamp series are made of brass and equipped with a small joint that makes the light head movable and flexible.
The light is directed downwards due to the shape of the lamp housing, making the lamp emit a very pleasant, glare-free light.
