An unforgettable game of colours: The Goggle Wall Lamp from Luceplan has colours, which change according to the angle it is watched from.
The designer Ross Lovegrove was inspired by the reflections of swim goggles when he designed Goggle together with Luceplan. A wall and ceiling lamp resulted out of this cooperation, which searches for equals regarding style. The elliptic lamp spreads colours through its “lens”, which change, according to the angle the lamp is watched from.
The technique behind the impressive physical effect is completely natural: Bubbles or some precious stones and insects have a thin film for the changing effects. Specialists call it to iridise.
The opalised lamp is responsible for indirect and diffuse light. The special style makes the wall lamp especially suitable for rooms that should get some special accents. Several Goggle wall lamps combined are even more impressive, since the game with colours is different according to the angle.
