Round pendant luminaire with star-shaped ornaments
The Floral pendant luminaire by David Trubridge captivates with its organic form and the star-shaped, compression-moulded bamboo veneer ornaments. The designer is inspired by the nature of his adopted country New Zealand. The floral parts look like corals of a reef from the Pacific off the coast of New Zealand. The thin and interwoven slats create a beautiful interplay of light and shadow on walls and ceilings. This makes the luminaire a special eye-catcher in the living or sleeping area.
Bamboo wood from sustainable timber indu
David Trubridge is one of the most important representatives of eco and slow design. The bamboo wood used for the lights comes from sustainable forestry and is cut and punched with hydro-powered machines. The luminaires supplied as self-assembly kits are compressed to 3% of their total volume in order to reduce the CO₂ consumption for transport to a minimum. Detailed instructions make it easier to assemble the lampshade.
The Floral pendant luminaire is equipped with an E14 base and is available in various sizes and natural wood colour combinations.
