Pendant luminaire with organically shaped shade
The Suspence pendant luminaire is a design by the Danish-Italian designer duo GamFratesi, whose design is based on a simple yet dynamic design. The aim of the Suspence luminaire was to transfer a motion sequence into a tangible form. The result is a modern lamp for Fritz Hansen which is characterised by the movement of pulling - an elementary movement under the influence of physical forces. This pulling force is clearly shown by the small curvature at the upper end of the lampshade, which gives the impression that the aluminium shade has moved into this shape due to a slight tension.

The organically shaped shade with soft curves allows soft light to penetrate, which is bundled by an infinity diffuser made of polycarbonate on the underside and provides glare-free lighting. Perfect for placing the luminaire above the dining table or desk. But also arranged in rows in the corridor, the Suspence pendant luminaire provides a pleasantly illuminated ambience. If the diffuser is removed, the light beam is amplified.
The Suspence pendant luminaire is available in various colours and sizes, which can also be combined excellently with each other.
