Lantern-shaped pendant luminaire in Swedish design
The Nelson Lantern Bubble pendant luminaire from Hay is part of the Nelson luminaire collection, a group of luminaires in elegant, spherical silhouettes. The pendant luminaire takes the traditional shape of the lantern and transforms it into a minimalist expression for contemporary spaces. George Nelson, inspired by a set of silk-covered Swedish pendants, designed the series in 195 2.
The modern look of this designer luminaire fits into private living rooms and bedrooms as well as public offices, restaurants and galleries.
Steel and plastic shade
The design pendant lamp is made of painted steel and a pleated shade of plastic polymer with a diameter of 28cm.
