The Agave Pendant Lamps were created by the designers Diego Rossi and Raffaele Tedesco for Luceplan in the year 2003. The design is characterized by the interaction of light, colours and material making up a fascinating game of transparence, reflections and light breaking.
The body of the Agave pendant lamp consists of transparent Methacrylate. The light and transparent corpus hides the illuminant inside of it so that no dazzling by the light will emerge. Simultaneously a perfect spread of the light is ensured. The beam-like construction of the Agave lamp even seems to hide the real light source as far as it looks hidden.
With special colour filters, the light game of the Agave pendant lamp can even be enlarged by one dimension. The filters can simply be inserted in the lamp and they will instantly change the colour of the transparent corpus as well as the spreading light. A filter set with the colours red, yellow, blue and cream are included in the delivery package of the Agave lamp.
The Agave pendant lamp can easily be unassembled to be cleaned. Luceplan offers Agave in three forms.
