Pendant in the Shape of a Plant
The Heracleum Pendant Lamp by Moooi has its name and shape from the Heracleum plant, which is also known under the name Hogweed. The often branched stems and broad lobed leaves are characteristic of the rare plant and also for the Heracleum lamp, which was modelled after the shape of the plant.
Adjustable LED Lights
The stems of the delicate Heracleum II luminaire, based on one branch are divided in thin strings that give rise to a technical and at the same time natural light. The strings end in one leaf that at the same time is the diffuser of the LED bulbs.
The leaves of the luminaire are also flexible and by flipping allow the light of the LED bulbs to look differently again and again. Thanks to the flexible leaves you can decide individually and for each new situation how the light of the Heracleum light is supposed to illuminate the room.
The unusual design of the Heracleum lamp by Bertjan Pot is available in different versions.
