The Nendo Sphere w132s is a pendant lamp that represents the outcome of its individual components. What sounds so natural turns out to be the special design feature of the lamp by Wästberg.
The series of lamps includes a table lamp, a floor lamp and a pendant lamp, which are all made of similar constructional elements and only differ slightly in their structure.
The minimalist lamps, created by Japanese studio Nendo for Wästberg, are available with three different archetypal shapes of lamp shades: a cylinder, a cone and a hemisphere. A rod-shaped bracket runs through the middle of each lamp shade. It holds the power supply: While the power cord of the pendant lamp is located at the upper end, the power supply of the table and floor lamps is attached to the lower end. Furthermore, the table and floor lamps differ only in the length of the light rod (adjustable in height by screw). Brilliantly simple and absolutely minimalist - this principle suits nearly all components of the lamp series.
As a small hidden detail, the diffusor is located in the interior of the lamp shade. It spreads light directly downwards in a non-glaring, soft and pleasant way.
Thanks to the clear, geometric design, the Sphere w132s3 can be placed almost anywhere - both in the living room and in public areas.
The Wästberg Nendo w132 is also available as Table Lamp Sphere, Table Lamp Cylinder and Table Lamp Cone. Upon request, you can also purchase floor lamps as well as additional colours and lamp shade variations (Cone and Cylinder) of the pendant lamp.
