Table lamp made of hand-blown glass
The Rituals table lamp with base by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba for Foscarini is a noble lamp that is characterized by its high quality workmanship. The shade of the table lamp has harmonious curves and is made of hand-blown glass. Fine cut lines make the shade look like fine washi paper, which is mostly used to make traditional oriental lanterns.
Filed glass
The Rituals table lamp with stand gets its special surface structure through a special technology during the manufacturing process. The glass is not rotated in the mold during blowing ("a fermo" technique). The special striped look is achieved with a special mold with negative decorations that are repeated on the surface. Then the glass is filed by hand and then immersed in an acid bath, which gives it a plaster-like effect. The simple base is made of metal and goes perfectly with the high-quality umbrella.
Pleasant backlighting
The Rituals table lamp with stand offers a pleasant background light and can be placed on the sideboard in the living room or on the bedside table in the bedroom, for example.
