Wall lamp made of hand-blown glass
The Rituals wall lamp is a design by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Foscarini and is characterized by its elegant design. The wall lamp is made of hand-blown glass with delicate grooves and is visually reminiscent of the lightness of washi paper, which is mostly used for the production of classic oriental lanterns.
The lamp gets its special appearance through a special technology during the manufacturing process. The glass is not rotated in the mold during blowing ("a fermo" technique). The special striped look is achieved with a special mold with negative decorations that are repeated on the surface. Then the glass is filed by hand and then immersed in an acid bath, which gives it a plaster-like effect.
Its velvety surface lets the light shine through gently so that the room is gently illuminated. Arranged singly or in groups in the hallway, the wall light sets elegant accents and provides pleasant light.
MyLight technology for control
The lights by Foscarini convince both when switched on and when they are switched off and create a special atmosphere in the room. Thanks to the MyLight technology, this mood can be adapted even better to individual needs.
With MyLight, the light can be controlled and adapted to personal needs. This is how it works: Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone or tablet and download the free Mylight app. The luminaire is automatically recognized by the app so that it can be switched on and off with a click on the device. In addition, it is possible to regulate the color temperature and the brightness in order to always adapt the light to the mood.
