Flexible arched wall light by Joe Colombo
The Coupé wall arch lamp 1158 from Oluce is both iconic and timeless and was designed by Joe Colombo. The simple and ingenious mechanism that connects the arc to the head allows the frame to be steered in several directions by moving the lampshade up, down and sideways. Made of metal, the lamp has an exceptional and functional look and can be mounted on any wall to save space. So it looks good over sofa, bed and dining table.
In 1968 Coupé won the "International Design Award" of the American Institute of Interior Design in Chicago. It is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York and the "Neue Sammlung" museum in Munich.
