The Flux chair from Skagerak is an outdoor table, whose elegant shape was drawn by Jonas Hermann Pedersen.
Pedersen gave a filigree and quiet appearance to the Flux collection, which acts less massive than most of the other wooden furniture. The slim legs of metal are the reason why the Flux chair by Skagerak looks this light and charming. The Danish designer chose teak wood as main material for his chair, which is always excellently processed and FSC-certified at Skagerak.
Teak is hard, stable and very easy to be processed. It is also characterized by the unique amount of naturally impregnated oils, which make the wood resistant against rot and fungal attack. That’s the reason why the Skagerak Flux chair can remain outside during the whole year, without more treatment than being regularly cleaned. For those of you who like the game of colours and the darker tones, it is recommended to treat the furniture with oil.
The Skagerak chairs wonderfully matches the Flux table.
