The Flux table from Skagerak is an outdoor table, whose elegant shape was drawn by Jonas Hermann Pedersen.
Pedersen gave a filigree and quiet appearance to the Flux collection, which acts less massive than most of the other wooden furniture. The slim legs of metal are the reason why the Flux table by Skagerak looks this weightless and charming. The Danish designer chose teak wood as main material for his table, which is always excellently processed and FSC-certified at Skagerak.
Teak is hard, stable and very easy to be processed. It is also characterized by the unique amount of naturally impregnated oils, which make the wood resistant against rot and fungal attack. That’s the reason why the Skagerak Flux table can remain outside during the whole year, without more treatment than being regularly cleaned. For those of you who like the game of colours and the darker tones, it is suggestable to treat the furniture with oil.
