Square plant bag for outdoor use
Bacsquare is a practical plant bag for the small garden on the balcony or terrace. The bag is made of a light material and offers ideal conditions for plants and soil. Bacsquare was Bacsac developed by the French company in 2009.
Perfect for the urban garden
The idea behind Bacsquare is to simplify or enable the creation of small roof gardens in cities. Often inner city gardens fail because of the bulky nature and weight of the necessary materials.
Geotextile and batyline
As material for their plant bags the designers of Bacsac either a geotextile fabric or a batyline fabric. Geotextile fabric is not only relatively light, but also offers the plant and its soil ideal conditions for growth: it allows the soil to breathe, is permeable to water and at the same time limits evaporation. Batyline, on the other hand, is a double-walled fabric that maintains the necessary balance between air, soil and water. The tear-resistant, abrasion and frost-resistant outer fabric is UV-treated and can withstand temperatures from -30°C to 70°C. Inside, the felt layer protects the roots, limits evaporation and distributes the water. In addition, the fabric is permeable, allowing the soil to breathe and the water to drain away. Just like the geotextile, it is 100% recyclable.
Bacsquare is the perfect setting for a private herb garden, a small flower bed or for growing vegetables. The plant bag Bacsquare is available in different sizes.
